Books-a-Million (BAM) -Dubuque, Iowa

I’m a book-obsessed bookworm. So, naturally this place is where I spend some of my time.

Today, I walked in with intentions of signing up for the BAM club thing since I wanted to buy a few books. WRONG. Not only was NO ONE at either registers location, nobody was around to ask for some help. So where there was suppose to be someone to minimize the minutes I spend for searching for something wasn’t even available in the store, I spent about fifteen minutes walking aimlessly.

When I finally ran into someone, he treated me like a bother!! He just acted like he couldn’t be bothered. As he stood behind the computer looking up for what I was looking for, I tried making small talk to ease the tension or whatever, I just got “I’m still looking, ok”. Yeah okay, bye. I just said, “ok, thanks” and walked out. Without my membership and without my books.
