I must admit – the work they do is good.

[Drove from Dubuque] Went in there just to ask about a shirt I’ve been dying to get made and they had amazing price and were fast. I was literally so amazed that I began thinking of shirts to make for xmas gifts.

So I went on their website and found an email and sent in a price inquiry for about 3 or 4 shirts. Week goes by nobody wrote me anything. I called and spoke to someone and she apologized [although she sounded bothered, like my call was bugging her] and asked me to resend that e-mail and she’ll be on the lookout. Been almost a week and still absolutely nothing…no email, no call – and yes I attempted to contact them on FB and the message was “read” but no response.

Therefore I’m telling you if you want something from these girls you better just put it in their face, because they won’t pay attention to you otherwise.

Customer service is a 2. And if I were a company wanting something…you might wanna go through snail mail first if you’re thinking of an order. I’m so disappointed.

I really like this gas station/shop. All the associated are super friendly and it always smells great in here. I like the selections they have from drinks to alcoholic drinks to energy drinks. Good variety. The only thing I’ve noticed in many times I’ve been here is THEY DO NOT I.D. So you can be 17 and still buy alcohol/smokes. It’s not my place to tell them they need to I.D., but someone should tell them they need to start because anyone can go in there and buy whatever. And I have been here many times and seen it NOT happen, so many times

This store’s atmosphere and layout is pretty neat. The associates are super nice- whoever I passed by tonight asked if I was finding everything okay, so kudos. However, I’m either poor or this stuff is just super expensive. Probably the poor part, right? I mean- awesome stuff…but I feel out of place. I can’t afford like 99% of the things. A simple stuffed animal is $12!! I mean…yeah. Thanks for making me feel like I needed to rob a bank to buy a stuffed toy! 🙂

Nice, large building but it was sort of a mess. Things were messy and were all over. Nice variety of times. Employees seemed decent and willing to help if you stop them. None of them asked us if we were doing okay and finding things okay.Prices on some items you can find at the dollar store for a dollar were four dollars and above.

I’m a book-obsessed bookworm. So, naturally this place is where I spend some of my time.

Today, I walked in with intentions of signing up for the BAM club thing since I wanted to buy a few books. WRONG. Not only was NO ONE at either registers location, nobody was around to ask for some help. So where there was suppose to be someone to minimize the minutes I spend for searching for something wasn’t even available in the store, I spent about fifteen minutes walking aimlessly.

When I finally ran into someone, he treated me like a bother!! He just acted like he couldn’t be bothered. As he stood behind the computer looking up for what I was looking for, I tried making small talk to ease the tension or whatever, I just got “I’m still looking, ok”. Yeah okay, bye. I just said, “ok, thanks” and walked out. Without my membership and without my books.

I specifically drove out of there from DBQ (yea, not a long journey I know!) because I read so many good reviews. I was excited. The store was beautiful, even if it was a bit cluttered. Good selection of books, but to find what you want you literally have to sit down and move books from spot to spot to find what’s behind the ones facing front. The store is more sign related and over-priced jewelry rather than ” a lot of books”. Also, I read that the lady of the place is super sweet and what not…I’m going to give her two stars. Other than greeting us and checking us out, she ignored us completely. Never once asking if we were doing okay or if she could help us find anything. Sadly, unless you’re in the area – it’s not worth a check out.

Wow! SO FUN much stuff. From delicious to clothing, you can’t miss this. If you are Bosnian or not – there is literally something for everyone. The service was a little stuck up, but if you can look past that and enjoy literally everything else, you’re in good hands. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I love Bosnia!

For such a huge building on the outside, sure is small inside! LOTS of clothing items, but i felt as if I was walking thru Goodwill, to be honest. Great deals, great service, and great location! Christmas shopping has never been soon smooth! 🙂

I accompanied my niece to get her ears pierced. The girl that pierced her was very knowledgeable, very patient and kind. She talked her through everything and explained the jewelry to us and was very quick. However, the priced are outrageous! $45 for ear lobe piercing and jewelry that you can buy at Walmart for $25!? Insane. I don’t like the atmosphere of this location at all because it seemed as though they are forcing their items on you. And it’s way crowded. The place is small so everything seemed to be on top of one another.

I never knew this kind of place existed. Now I can’t get away. I’m so obsessed with this place. It’s the only reason i drive to the davenport mall. Super employees, amazing inventory, and uhh you can’t help but notice how amazing the entire store smells. I make a comment every time I walk in. The atmosphere is so cool, laid back, welcoming. Someone is always around for anything needed. I support Disc Replay 100%. Send some gear my way, I’ll proudly wear it!

My only complaint is the mess throughout the store. Each isle is filled with someone that doesn’t belong. If you go by the shoes thru the toilet paper isle, good luck. BOX after box. The balloon and party favors isle is the worst. BUT Ms. Cathy is such a vibrant, wondering employee and the rest of the team is always pleasant, kind, and around.

I mean, you just can’t beat $1 and less. It’s just not possible. But..you COULD better your employees to those who, you know, give some kind of attempt to talk with you or welcome you. The morning staff if slow and its so full of boxes that it’s all over and you can hardly find a place to walk. Night shift hardly anyone ever present at the register. It’s a cat and mouse game. It’s an excellent store if you know what you need and get out. It’s just like Walmart : plenty of registers, only ONE always open with a line all the way to the back.

I was stoked to be here today! Drove 3.5 hours! VERY nice store filled with all sorts of Bosnian goodies. Pravi izbor, prava hrana. Quality for sure. Very nice employee smiling and approachable. Great prices. Najbolji smo! 🙂

No, no, and no. Way too crowded. Customer service is shot…I literally stood there for maybe seven minutes before anyone even bothered to ask me If i needed anything – i clearly did because I was completely lost for what I was looking for. When she finally got to me she just pointed in the direction that “it might be” in. Peachy. I thought Dubuque store was pathetic, but my God this one just took the cake.

If I could give it a negative 10, I would.

I walked in and the employee was sitting at the desk knee-deep into whatever he was doing on the computer. He didn’t even acknowledged my presence. I literally walked by ON PURPOSE and coughed to get his attention because I need help finding a game, nothing. So I muttered under my breath and walked around..it took me almost fifteen minutes to find what I was looking for. I had it in my hand and looked his way debating…and when he didn’t even raise his head, I put it back and walked away. It was then that he said ‘have a good day’ without even looking up. Are you serious?

I mean, what’s there to say? Rude customer service, always yelling and rushing. Lines are longer than those at Walmart, if possible. Someone mentioned in their review that nothing is sorted according to size, they are right. It’s such a mess. Only reason for three stars, you can find some neat treasures if you have time. But…they get these items for free, so why charge $3 for a plastic bowl??

I am obsessed with this Goodwill location! I live in DBQ and whenever I go to visit my sister in Maquoketa, this place is where I automatically need to stop to before I take off home. Service is beautiful, very organized and the people (customers) ARE SO NICE. Gives the DBQ location a run for their money!

Those who have not been to Gordmans, have no right saying “Disney is the happiest place on earth!”

Gordmans is stacked with beauty and items that’s just right. It’s like all the times you have no room for, you really shouldn’t get, but you some how NEED anyway.

This particular location I’m not too fond of because they aren’t spacious enough and everything kind of collides together.

Plus items have upped in price that really don’t deserve three dollars yet alone the eight it’s listed for! Fun place nonetheless!

Every book lovers dream store. My fave store, literally! I cannot get enough. I don’t even care about the hour and half drive to get here! Always have the best stuff, the latest stuff. Excellent staff always around, always checking in to see if you need anything! I can’t get enough. THANK YOU!

Very small location. Not a big selection. It was rather busy the day I went. The associates at the front (registers) were decent and kind, can’t say the same for the one’s walking the floor. It’s not a place I’d return again.

The store is filled with a lot of beautiful items. You could spend hours just walking around taking in the beauty. The prices are a bit high though, I must admit. But sadly, that’s as far as it goes. I went in today in hopes of getting some ideas for a gift. When the older lady finally noticed I was there she asked if she could help and I told her my mission. She didn’t have a clue so she called some other older lady that came. She attempted to lead me somewhere but quickly lost track and wondered off. Needless to say, I walked out empty handed. How depressing.

I feel as though, this place is a lower run of Walgreens. Totally over priced on almost all things, service is rude, and the customers are even more irritating. The only thing I like about this location is the postal service. The group in that part of the “store” are so sweet and patient. Only time I ever come in this wreck. But I can’t lie though, the decor of the building inside is wonderful! They really do have some lovely items if you wouldn’t mind selling a kidney for a piece of paper that has a neat quote on it.

As the Backstreet Boys say, ” I have mixed emotions ..” Way crowded and nobody is ever in a decent enough mood to want to help one out if asking for help. I’m more near the Asbury branch, but i go here because I like the change. The layout and way smoother an clean all over. Eh. If you must go, go.

So so so beautiful inside. SO much beautiful stuff, SO organized and well loved. Nothing can beat this. If you want to compare the other consignment stores within the area, DON’T. Just go to J&J. No disappointment, ever. And you will always find something – in any color! 🙂 The ladies are always sweet and thankful that you’ve stopped in! Cheers!

Eh. Went in for gifts for niece and came out empty handed. The store is nicely organized but that’s as far as anything goes. Rude customer service. The one that did approach us made us feel unwelcome….yeah. Never again.

This mall is a 0. I unfortunately had to make a trip to Hallmark in the mall today and while walking toward my location, I couldn’t help and take in all that is Kennedy Mall now. I couldn’t help but reminisce when I was younger and what the mall was then. Such a ghost town now. All that’s left is over priced stores that offer nothing above XL. And the lonely sign that reads “FOOD COURT” was sort of reminder of what was. There is absolutely no food court. What mall has NO food court? There are more dark and closed spaces then there are open. And the few that are open are RENTING for the season. I think the only thing keeping this “mall” afloat is Victoria’s Secret & Bath & Body Works. Incredibly sad. Just put it out of it’s misery, and start anew.

Very disappointed. Nothing that I’ve found on their website was at the store, nor was there anyone around for me to ask questions about it. The prices “on sale” are still way out of budget reach. Nobody greeted anyone at the door…clothes were literally all over the ground, unfolded, unattended. Especially near the women underwear/bra section. So displeasing and a sore sight.

I absolutely love this gas station (location). ALWAYS friendly service, the price is always right, SO clean, fresh. What could you want more? PLUS the best part? 24 hours open 🙂

Very nice and clean. Nice people. I just love Kwik Star all around the area’s I think. Very fast pace.

OH GOODNESS. I was in absolute heaven when I visited this little beauty of a shop. SO many good things. Some are overpriced especially for their condition. I absolutely love that it has a ‘dollar room’. The lady that assisted me was very knowledgeable, very patient, very busy. You can tell she is into what she’s doing and is very inviting. I recommend everyone go here at least twice to get through everything that there is. Some items are so priceless. Thank you!!

Very impressed with the sweet girl that helped me out today! Knowledgeable, honest, and fun spirited. So much items all over (organized!) I could spend hours there! I’ve been here before many times and each time it was hard to find an associate. And when you do find one – they are never friendly and emotionless. So it was refreshing to find the associate I did today. Always awesome deals & coupons!

I have fallen in love with this thrift store! Not only can you almost always find what you’re looking for, but the price is absolutely right, the product is in better condition than elsewhere, and the staff is wonderful! Very fair, very pleasant, and there is always so much to look through! A++++

It’s so clear why they are ‘out of business’ in so many cities. Customer service is 0…walked around maybe twenty minutes and not one person approached me. Didn’t have anything in stock that I was searching for, well of course I couldn’t ask anyone about it either. Such a sad waste of time. The only thing I can comment with thumbs up on, is the displays. And the Christmas present suggestions. Those are cool.

Just like the old store, I dislike walking in here, I dislike just about everything that’s included in “Old Navy”, including 99% of the staff.

But-

Today I had to make a stop for my mother and up until the door I was cussing under my breath. I walked in and reality welcomed it, flatly. At least it said hello unlike all of the associates I walked by while I was there (lasted about 25 mins tops!). At least three stuck up girls walked by and just looked past me, not even a smile.

I will admit that the store does have very cute designs, cute styles, colors etc….their prices are kind up there for no reason. Their sale racks are decent though, even if they are a messy disaster. Hardly any selections for PLUS sizes…sort of embarrassing from what OLD NAVY used to be.

The only pleasantry that I came across tonight in Old Navy, was the sweet girl at the checkouts. So sweet, talkative, smiley, laughing etc etc. She made the hell just a tad worth stopping in.

I walked in to buy surprise presents for my furbabies, yes I do these things. the place was deserted and there was hardly any workers in there except the lady that seemed afraid to leave her register. I got my gifts and walked around some more without being bothered by anyone really. It was kind of nice. The place is very very clean, very stocked, very in-tune. I also like that their music wasn’t BLARING, it was just the right amount of sound.

I’ve only been here a few times this time I went to get an Christmas gift card. Pleasant service, great layout, SO smelly good and excellent part of renovating! 🙂

Rue21 has always been my favorite store especially when they got the Plus section. I made a trip to my local Rue store on the 4th. Now, usually the minute you walk in someone greets you – never fails. And through out they ask if you’re finding everything okay. This visit was the opposite. The girl at the register made eye contact with me and that was it. I felt..out of place and uncomfortable so I left not even five minutes in. The atmosphere was just clouded. Shame. I needed some new clothes.

Love, love, love this place! I live in Dubuque and whenever I am in Davenport, it’s a must stop location. The shirts are a bit pricey which sucks 🙁 BUT the items in Shag are perfect quality, excellent price (most of the stuff), and the service is WONDERFUL. Will most defiantly be back asap!

Fast & Friendly service. Great items. Very organized and perfectly labeled so you know where to go and what size, etc etc. Amen!

I can only complain about the smell of the building, otherwise I’ve never had one issue. My favorite part about this location is the constantly new items on display. Amazing prices, very very fair. The employees are a little rough, except this “new girl” that just started: she’s very soft spoken and sweet and is always willing to help in any way. The best deal is you never have to worry about someone NOT being present (unlike some places I won’t mention). There is always someone near by. Love it!

The Copy & Print center is absolutely beautiful. I’ve not once spoken to an associate who didn’t have an idea what they were talking about. It’s refreshing. Very knowledgeable and presentable. The rest of the store? Not so much. Sure it’s clean and very well organized. The prices? I can’t even afford to buy ink there yet alone anything else! The “clearance” section is not even clearance…its just a couple of pennies “cheaper”. Sad!

I was nowhere near impressed nor satisfied with this store’s location. The only thing I can comment positively about is the layout and organization and labels. The service was nonexistent. Even if I did have a question, which I believe hubby might of about an office chair, there was nobody around. Big store though, very clean.

The store HAS A LOT of stuff. Some better than others, but that’s the point.

Their consignment is a joke. I found identical items that throughout the store that I brought it and they turned them down ‘cuz “They aren’t in the package”…but yet someone else brought those same pens WITHOUT the package and you put them in Ziploc and put them on the floor? A lot of dysfunction.

I can’t imagine where there wasn’t anything I suddenly needed every time I enter! Good store! Great prices…even if some are unbelievable for what is from USED store.

I grew up in Dubuque, so of course I grew up with Target. You can tell whose a Target groupie so to say, and who isn’t. That someone who isn’t is M-E!

Don’t get me wrong,

Target sure does have it’s star points..example: CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, wonderful smell (even if it is impossibly getting covered with the stench of overpriced coffee), the store organization is excellent, and so on.

But..let’s not fool ourselves. I walked in today for 1 freakin’ item (ended up with 3, which is cool) and at least four or five “TEAM MEMBERS” walked by me without a word.

At the registers..not even the manager acknowledged my presence. And she was surrounded by some tall team member on his phone, and two girls just standing about, while I waited for help on the self checkout. Nice service, kudos. AND not to mention the “GUESTS” were just a bunch of ingrown humans…(in grown nails, hair..etc??)..

I hate Target.

Neat stuff. Poor service. Messes in piles here and there. No thanks.

Very beautiful atmosphere. Clean and stylish. The displays are gorgeous. The smell of the store is very captivating. However, clothing prices are WAY overpriced. I mean for the $17 i pay for a single t-shirt, I can spend in gas driving to the location. The make up area is a mess. None of the associates have any customer service experience…it makes me ill thinking I have to ask someone for assistance.The products are pretty and great deal. LOVE the candles. In fact, I only go to TJ for candles.

Defiantly not sure how this place is even running. So so disappointed.

Husband and I walked in because he was looking for shoes. Young kid came up to us, really friendly I might add, and proceeded to help him. Telling he he’s got the shoe he has in hand in wide as my husband was asking – he led him to try the shoe on.

When he told him he liked those and would like to purchase, the employee walked in the back – took about ten minutes to return- and came back with a box and leaned down to help husband try it on….then he realized ‘Oh, yeah, we don’t have wide”…what? I mean, what?

How can you be that…I don’t really have the words for this mess. I also disliked that most of the sandal like shoes had their price tags STAPLED to them…why would you do that?

Yeah…Unless I’m given a damn good reason for this attempt of winning a customer over, I will tell others to stay clear of this place.

This is my go to Walgreens, only because it’s the closest to my house. I’ve become close to a few pharmacy employees, otherwise I’d never step a foot in the store. I’ll break it down:

1) Customer service is 0. Nobody is ever enthused enough to help you. 2) Photo department never has anyone present 3) Nobody ever explains anything to you 4 ) God forbid you need to go to the drive-thru pharmacy.

I’ve come so close to switching even went as far as signing up at the different pharmacy but the fact that they know who I am at Walgreens pharmacy keeps me coming back, but not for long. Drive thru is terrible in almost all ways.

Worst is their pace which is- well a turtle would beat them at the finish line. Plus they put NEW people who are hardly trained to take care of us…it’s like this is DRIVE THRU you know, pick up meds and go. McDonald’s is faster than this. and:

5) The prices are just ridiculous. Even Walgreens brand stuff is outrageous. I cant even. I’m so sad.

Is it even worth to spend time writing a review here? I’ll just cut to the major points filled with 100 % honesty, as with all my reviews:

1) Emotionless, uninterested, rude employees.
2) Unclean shelves with people’s trash (coffee cups, probably stolen chocolate bars, eaten)
3) Self checkout is just as bad as the regular checkouts
4) Dirty parking lot/carts all over
and we’ll leave off with
5) Missing employees when needed for help in any direction

I vote Galena Walmart for the win! Or the Walmart in Texas, maybe in North Carolina…anywhere but here, really.
