I am not sure how this will all come out, but to keep it direct: I am beyond fed up with Walgreens, the employees, and the pharmacy. We’ve been with Walgreens for over 20 years now and it went downhill quick. Walgreens was my favorite store for all things house and living needs. Right up the street, clean, and accessible. NOW: the store is still very clean and organized. The employees are something else. No knowledge about any item, no idea how to answer questions or solve the most simple issue. The managers never smile and constantly look like they are in a bad mood or don’t have time for you. The items are so overpriced I cant even afford to go inside and make a Christmas gift purchase, yet alone decent toilet paper. Now as for the pharmacy…The ultimate reason for my possible departure. ALL the pharmacy staff (except Marty, Michelle & MaryAnne) are zone out. I don’t understand why anyone would put someone whose still in training at the drive thru window when they have no idea what they are doing. Drive thru = quick service, and have a good day. Oh no, it’s never quick if anything it’s 20 minutes LONGER. Every time I make a refill I can promise you that for the last month or two they either DO NOT have it in stock, THEY screw up on on something, OR ITS NOT FINISHED. I can’t take anymore. All they say is “I don’t know what to tell you”. Are you kidding? Excellent level of customer service. 20 some years of praising, devotion, and business all down the drain. Now what? What took me overboard was today’s mishap. I ordered the wrong size syringe and got what i ordered. When i realized it was wrong I tried online refill and of course I couldn’t order because I picked up the order. Literally says I picked up 11/8….i didn’t even ORDER the right ones. So i tried calling four different times within an hour and of course nobody answers the phone. Online chatting cut me off because there was no “activity” in the chat window. I think Hartig is looking more and more appealing.
