Brazen Open Kitchen – Dubuque, IA
The bread was really burnt to begin with. As far as the place its self, it was nice and cozy. I really, really enjoyed it. It had a semi-romantic feel to it since it was valentine’s day. The bar was a little stuffy and the bartender’s behind the bar seemed to be stepping all over each other. I will admit that “Cucumber Fizz” was suchhhh a tasty drink, oh wow!!! The steaks hubby and I had were de-li-cious! I was disappointed how little of everything else was brought with the meal. Not even a scoop of mash potatoes and 3 small carrots. How’s that even close to filling? But it was really good. I liked how they were constantly walking re-filling water and making sure everything is okay. The place smelled of a good time. It had luxury to it. I liked that. It was very pricey. Over $100 for two steaks. Ans also to make a comment on the “chef at location”…where? It’s an open kitchen you can see everyone cooking, there was no particular chef present. Advertising though, how neat.
