IHOP – Dubuque, IA

How this place is even afloat baffles me.

Walked in today with a friend for our coffee date {both of us are returning customers} and right off the bat we were warned if you will, by our waitress that she was the only one on board today and she needed to seat us in the only open section. We followed her and she left for at least 4 or 5 minutes and then comes back all a mess and in a hurry kind of forcing us to hurry and order, tapping her pen on her pad.

I felt, well to be honest, sort of judged. Her attitude and behavior spoke loudly that she didn’t have time for us in her day. Umm okay. Horrid service. Not even worth a glance.

From my understanding..customer service and how you connect to your guests is what keeps business’s going. She had no time for causalities and was cold, no smile no personality. I mean, if you hate it there so much, leave. Don’t take it out on me.
