Target – Dubuque, Iowa

I grew up in Dubuque, so of course I grew up with Target. You can tell whose a Target groupie so to say, and who isn’t. That someone who isn’t is M-E!

Don’t get me wrong,

Target sure does have it’s star points..example: CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, wonderful smell (even if it is impossibly getting covered with the stench of overpriced coffee), the store organization is excellent, and so on.

But..let’s not fool ourselves. I walked in today for 1 freakin’ item (ended up with 3, which is cool) and at least four or five “TEAM MEMBERS” walked by me without a word.

At the registers..not even the manager acknowledged my presence. And she was surrounded by some tall team member on his phone, and two girls just standing about, while I waited for help on the self checkout. Nice service, kudos. AND not to mention the “GUESTS” were just a bunch of ingrown humans…(in grown nails, hair..etc??)..

I hate Target.
